Popcorn money is a big part of our operating budget and a way we help keep dues reasonable and are able to subsidize certain events. It is an essential part of our pack efforts to help teach Scouts about earning money and how to communicate with adults. It also provides Scouts with opportunities to earn Scout Dollars which can be used for Scout activities and gear.  Our Popcorn Kernel Christie needs your help! Join us for our October Pack Meeting at Locust Grove's Sycamore Tree on Oct 11 @ 5:00PM. Do not go to the Nature Center or playground. You will follow a trail for 5 minutes to get to the Sycamore Tree. There will be a campfire and activities around the campfire. More details coming soon.

Mark your calendars for our Pack 1280 Fall Campout at Little Bennett Campground starting on Oct 24 @ 3PM. Come stay for 2 nights, 1 night, or just come for the day on Saturday. It will be lots of fun! We will have s'mores, skits, shelter making, scavenger hunt, hike, and more!

We had a terrific first pack meeting! Scouts participated in Rain Gutter Regatta by building their own sailboats and racing them. Scouts could also make improvements on their boats. Everyone had a lot of fun!

A few of our AOLs, Webelos, and Tigers participated in the Broad Creek Summer Camp near Baltimore. It was an awesome week of boating, shooting, climbing, swimming, dancing, and camping! We can't wait until next year's camp!
