Popcorn money is a big part of our operating budget and a way we help keep dues reasonable and are able to subsidize certain events. It is an essential part of our pack efforts to help teach Scouts about earning money and how to communicate with adults. It also provides Scouts with opportunities to earn Scout Dollars which can be used for Scout activities and gear.  Our Popcorn Kernel Christie needs your help! Our Welcome Back/End of Summer BBQ is on 08/24 @ Potomac Woods Park from 11am-2pm. All scouts and families are welcome! This event is also open to prospective Scouts! Bring a friend and introduce them to your den leader. We are looking for scouts entering Kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grades.  Scouts entering all other grades will be considered on a case by case basis.

Join Pack 1280 for Rain Gutter Regatta on Sept 12 @ 6:45PM at the St. Raphael School gymnasium. This is our first pack meeting of the school year. Scouts will build their own boats and race them in the water. New families are welcome!

A few of our AOLs, Webelos, and Tigers participated in the Broad Creek Summer Camp near Baltimore. It was an awesome week of boating, shooting, climbing, swimming, dancing, and camping! We can't wait until next year's camp! 

Pack 1280 led the flag ceremony at the DC United game on June 7th. What an awesome opportunity for our scouts! Way to go!
